The AIB Week in Review #6

My week started in Kentucky with Brandi Carlile. What a pleasure to share the stage with her! I’ve been a fan for years, and it was the coolest of the cool to watch her sing up close.
As it that wasn’t a treat enough, we got to sing a duet of the song “Crying” by Roy Orbison! In case you missed it, Woodsongs will post a link to the performance soon - I’ll be sure to let you know as soon as it posts!
Mid-week knitting provided me with some long overdue R&R. I started up a page on Ravelry and I’m looking forward to posting some of my knitted projects there in the coming months. This is my first:

But the highlight of the week was the AMAZING Sophie’s Challenge “radio battle” with Justin Nozuka!! This came out of the blue for me, and once my fans got to voting things really took off!

The voting is still going, so stop by and give “Live Forever” a chance to spin on the radio!
If we win, we’re celebrating with cupcakes! (Thanks for the pic, @HughElliott)
All outcomes aside, this was a great chance for me to find out about Justin Nozuka and his music. He’s a Canadian/American singer/songwriter with an amazing history, a really cool sound, and some seriously LOYAL fans!
Once you’ve cast your vote, you should give Justin’s website a look - he’s got some really cool stuff there, including this beautiful photo:
